Takapuna beach is just gorgeous! Plus the area has plenty of classy cafes to enjoy great food and sites at after a beach walk.

The Takapuna Boat Ramp is at one corner of the expansive Takapuna Beach and is a good landing spot to explore the beach from. There is a parking lot just above it, shared by the Takapuna Beach Cafe.

Brilliant rock pool, wonderful walk along the beach and a fabulous cafe (owned by the same people who own St Heliers Bay Bistro, so the same ice-cream. Yay!)

Visit Takapuna beach for a leisurely stroll along the water’s edge overlooking Rangitoto Island. Some stunning views in this area.
