I put Abbot square here as a leap off point. Once yup find Abbot Square you can enter Pacific Drive where there are many shops for fun shopping, anything from fashion, skate shops, local artist shops, shoes, food, street music, bars, late night clubs, etc. This is downtown Santa Cruz which is a hop and skip from the Boardwalk.

Abbott Square Market is a culinary and entertainment venue in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz. 8 unique restaurants and bars surrounded by a 10,000 square foot outdoor plaza for live entertainment.

Abbot square market is a great combination of kiosks with different food and beverage options. There is a craft cocktail bar and a seperate beer and wine bar. In addition there are several eateries with different food options. The outdoor courtyard is a nice place to enjoy a meal or have a few drinks.
