The Lachine Canal is a canal passing through the southwestern part of the Island of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, running 14.5 kilometres from the Old Port of Montreal to Lake Saint-Louis, through the boroughs of Lachine, Lasalle and Sud-Ouest.
Although we are not on the Lachine Canal the bike path that connects to it is 2 blocks from our doorstep.
The Lachine Canal is one of Montreal's top attractions and there are plenty of activities to do, and it is a historical place to visit
