You can look out to the terracota rooftops of Alfama and the river from this incredibly charming terrace, always filled with tourists snapping photos
This romantic terrace by the church of Santa Luzia introduces visitors to Alfama with a sweeping view over its houses, churches, and the Tagus River. On an outside wall of the church are two tile panels, one of Trade Square before the earthquake, and another showing Christians attacking St. George's Castle in 1147. The cafe on the terrace is a good place for a drink before climbing to the castle nearby. Ride Lisbon's metro, buses, and trams for FREE with the Lisbon Card.
