Lovely old fashioned pub. Good food. It's a 45 minute walk, along the Thames from Reading to Sonning.

Nice walk along the kennet and Avon canal, and the Thames to Henley. Village Pub (George Clooney's local!) Approx 45 min walk

Famous ancient pub restaurant a short walk away that belongs to the church. Mr Clooney likes it so much he tried to buy it.
