Restored but remains superbly ancient. Lots for the children to do. Some nice spots for lunch but take your own as the cost for food here is extortionate
Chateau de Bridoire If you are travelling with children, Chateau de Bridoire has lots of excellent games with a medieval theme. With stables, horses, mini ponies, this fully restored Chateau has 100 games of yesteryear on offer for all ages that include; fitting armour, calligraphy, crossbow, bow and arrow shooting, shadow theatre, and giant chessboard. The Mysterious Valley in the castle grounds is a 3k route by rivers, caves and a labyrinth, there is a shop on site that sells picnics. In July and August, haunted Nights are available every Tuesday and Wednesday by reservation. Situated 3km from Ribagnac, the Chateau de Bridoire is an excellent destination for families, and is open every day from the 9th April to the end of September.

This is an amazing chateau that has been renovated and is now open to the public. There are over 50 different mediaeval games that you can play throughout the chateau grounds .
