Annette & I live in Springfield IL and have been together since 1975. She grew up in Peoria IL, I grew up in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn NY. Our son, daughter-in-law and two small grandchildren live in Flagstaff. Annette has been a biology teacher and a master gardener. Her knowledge of insects, animals and plants is quite impressive! I have owned computer company Avrom Systems for 40 years, am a bicyclist and involved in my local community.

What a perfect family retreat. We traveled with another couple with an infant and toddler. The bedrooms worked out perfect and there is a fabulous open floor plan. The kitchen was great for meals.. the weather didn’t cooperate, but we were able to get in some walks and collect apples and fall leaves. Why apples? TO FEED THE DEER THAT WERE OUTSIDE IN THE YARD. it was amazing to be so close to see them. I highly recommend this place. We will certainly be back

Harvey is quite possibly the best host I have ever encountered. I booked the home later at night as I was in town on a dire family emergency. Harvey made an exception and let me check in later than usual. Harvey was also empathetic to my situation which meant a lot. I will never forget Harvey's good deeds. I havent even mentioned the home which was absolutely amazing. Thank you Harvey, I will be sure to pay it forward.
