Let’s start with the positives:
Great location, lovely neighborhood. Pet friendly. Very quiet. A short walk to Jane station. The apartment itself is one floor below ground level, so prepare to lug your suitcases down and up stairs. Not a dealbreaker, just a point of info.

The bad:
The apartment was dusty when we arrived. Host was supposed to be onsite but only showed up about ten days later. Another tenant let us in. The door to the apartment wouldn’t close properly and wasn’t resolved. A pump was broken and we could do laundry and it was only fixed ten days later. And the kitchen sink was leaking and the plumber that came ten days later only did an interim fix. The host was slow in responding and not very communicative. We had booked for a month and left after two weeks as soon as we found alternative accommodation. Thankfully, we managed to get a refund from Airbnb (great customer support!) for the remainder of our stay.

Van is a very friendly and responsive host. Definitely can recommend. Location is nice with lots to do.

Van’s place was the perfect location and dog friendly so I could bring my puppy. Being close to Bloor West Village and steps from the subway made life incredibly easy. Van was very communicative and understanding and I would recommend that anyone stay with him.
