Only 7 miles to Plimoth Plantation which is an incredible living history exhibit displaying the Wampanoag Native Americans and the Pilgrims
The Plymouth Pawtuxet reenactment museum is so much fun and informative for all ages. They also had a really cool movie theater and reasonably delicious food
Find out how the pilgrims lived, when they first arrived in the area in 1620. Experience encounters with these first settlers in the open-air museum, complete with costumes and historical re-enactors, who have no idea that time has progressed beyond their era. Ask them about electricity or telephones and you will be met by a blank look. The Plimouth Plantation is closed during the winter months, but there is an inside farmer's market during that time in the vistor center.
