Good pub food, lots of beers to choose from and a great place to sit in the sun and watch the inexperienced punters punt for the first time on the river. Priceless entertainment for free.

Grab a drink and sit on the mill pond (avoid cow pats) you could also save money and buy your own drinks from the shop and sit here ;)

Good food - lovely setting - take your drink out and sit and watch the punting and look at the view across the river meadows - go punting either along the backs to see the colleges or to grantchester

Pub with food. In the summer you can take your drink outside and hang out by the Mill Pond. You might have to share your spot with some cows, but it's a lovely place to watch the world go by.
